Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) providing behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
This role is focused on psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and ongoing medical oversight within a structured PHP/IOP setting. The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with the Medical Director and interdisciplinary treatment team to support safe, effective, and compliant care delivery.
This position is clinical, patient-facing, and regulated. Candidates must be comfortable working in a highly structured environment with clear documentation and supervision requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct psychiatric and medical assessments for PHP and IOP patients
• Provide medication management in accordance with scope of practice and supervisory agreements
• Monitor patient response to psychotropic and MAT-related medications when applicable
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and case management staff as part of the treatment team
• Participate in treatment team meetings and clinical reviews
• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
• Support continuity of care, including coordination with external providers when needed
• Adhere to all applicable South Carolina licensing, supervision, and program requirements
Supervision Structure
This role functions under a supervising physician in compliance with South Carolina scope-of-practice laws and organizational policies. Clear supervision and escalation pathways are in place.

• Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of South Carolina

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary treatment environment
• Comfort operating within structured PHP/IOP clinical models
• Annual salary of $120,000-$130,000
